In this month’s Tips and Tricks, we show how to correctly define the mating faces (iMates) of an electrical 3D Inventor part. This facilitates auto mounting of components to the DIN rail; components will automatically butt up to one another and components will auto place on the enclosure door if a door mounted part. If you would like a copy of the 3D DIN rail part and you are a Cadline customer, please get in touch with customer services.
