Revit 2021 - Making Temporary Dimensions Larger

  • Updated

by Garry Stockton

Have you ever found the Temporary Dimension too small in Revit? If you have installed Revit, the standard default font is set to size 8. Sometimes this is not ideal depending on your screen or graphics resolution.

Size 8 (Standard)                                   Size 14 (Modified)

To adapt the standard size temporary text dimensions, preferential adjustments can be made to the font dimensions.

1 - Select the Revit logo or File on the top left of your interface.

2 - Options at the bottom of the palette, third down on the list is Graphics.

3 - Once in Graphics dialogue box, adjust Temporary Dimension Text Appearance to preferred size (See highlighted).
