iProperty values can be defined as expressions. It is very common to have a part or assembly description include parameter values.

The first step is exporting the parameters you want to include to custom iProperties – simply tick the box in the Export column. You can also change the way these values will display when pushed to custom iProperties. Right click -> Custom Property Format..

Use "=" to start an expression, then add text as needed and parameter names in angle brackets i.e. <parameter>.  You will notice the icon that indicates this field contains an expression. After all text/parameters have been filled in, press enter. The expression will then be evaluated and the results will be displayed.

Not only parameters can be used in expressions, but other iProperties as well. In the example above, I also included the part number in my description.
