AutoCAD Copymode system variable

AutoCAD doesn’t copy objects multiple times by default.

Q. When using AutoCAD’s Copy command the function no longer copies multiple objects as a default behaviour?

Fig. Before AutoCAD 2005 users had to tell AutoCAD to copy multiple objects!

A. This problem can be solved by setting the COPYMODE system variable to zero. If set to 1 (one), the copy command will default to copying single elements only.

The default setting of COPYMODE should be zero, but occasionally this variable can be unintentionally set by a 3^rd party add-in or routine.
