Question:
In QGIS when I use the Identify Results tool and select a feature it automatically changes colour to Red. How can I change this ‘Identify Results Selection’ colour?
Answer:
By default, when you use the Identify Results tool and select a map feature in QGIS, the feature is shown using a Red Colour.
However, choosing Settings > Options > on the Map Tools Tab > and the Identify section you can change the Highlight colour to any colour of your choice – e.g. purple.
Once Applied any features that are now selected using the Identify Results Tool are shown as purple in the map.
Note – When choosing the new colour, if you move the Arrows underneath the colour wheel you can also apply a transparency to the feature highlight colour.
Applying this transparency will mean you can better see the actual map feature below the identify highlight colour.
