Question:

In QGIS is it possible to change the font style for the menus?

Answer:

Yes, choosing Settings > Options > on the General Tab > and the Application section you can change the Font, by ticking the Font Radio button > choosing a new Font e.g. Arial and choosing a Size e.g. 12.

Once Applied, the next time that you start QGIS, the Main Menus, Layer Names, Identify Tool, Attribute Table Cells etc will now use the Font that you defined in the settings.
