MapThat – Deleting Vertices

The DynamicMaps Team at Cadline is pleased to announce that in our latest release of MapThat – v5.0.0 – we have updated the Drawing Tools so that the Reshape Tool now allows you to Add, Move and now Delete an Existing Vertex in your spatial data.

In the Drawing Tools choose the Reshape Tool and simply left click on any existing Vertex to delete it and automatically reshape the feature. You can still move an existing vertex by holding the mouse button down and moving the vertex.

The ability to now delete an existing vertex is a great enhancement to the MapThat Drawing Tools. Specifically our Grounds Maintenance Teams can now very easily Capture an existing grassed area in Ordnance Survey data and then delete vertices to reshape the Grassed Areas very quickly and very accurately.
