In these challenging times during lockdown, it can be hard to keep our children challenged whilst having fun.
With this in mind, I thought I’d bring your attention to Autodesk’s, Tinkercad.
Tinkercad is a free, online 3D modelling program that runs in a web browser, known for its simplicity and ease of use. Since it became available in 2011 it has become a popular platform for creating models for 3D printing, as well as an entry-level introduction to constructive solid geometry in schools.
You can join an existing class, create one if you are a teacher or simply sign up for a personal account.
There is a Gallery to view some example for ideas, or simply type into Youtube, Tinkercad.
Have fun!
