Revit 2021 – Installing missing or adding additional Revit content

When installing Revit, it is possible that some of the content may be missing, due to a break in connection when downloading files from the internet, or forgetting to choose a region when configuring the installation. If this is the case, then this content can be located, downloaded and installed from the Insert Tab of the Revit Ribbon.

The command takes you to Autodesk’s support area where region specific content and templates can be accessed.

Once installed, Revit may need to be configured so that region specific content takes precedence in lists. If necessary, shuffle the file lists so that UK content is listed at the top. This can be achieved within Revit ‘Options’.
