Have you ever thought about right clicking the Padlock on a Revit dimension?

Right click the padlock and up pops a dialogue panel, select ‘Show Related’.

A new dialogue box opens showing the Family & Type, it’s a useful tool that could really help during more complicated dimensioning projects. ​
