Revit – Quick view renaming add-in

Keeping Revit’s collection of views tidy is always a challenge. View templates are an invaluable way of ensuring display styles are consistent, but what about the naming of those views?

The EnTools Rename utility makes this task a little easier. Select the views that you wish to remain.
Run the rename views utility specifying the search string and a prefix and suffix value as appropriate.

Click rename and the browser should change to something like the following:

View templates can now be applied to set view characteristics and positioning within the browser. Repeat for other views as necessary.
