How do I bring back deleted objects without undoing all the tasks I have done in the meantime?

Answer:

Type in ‘Oops’ on the command line.

This will bring back the deleted objects without losing objects created since the erase operation.

NB. Do NOT use this command with AutoCAD Plant as this operation can break links between the drawing and its associated links with the database.
