AutoCAD - Manipulation of the “Navbar” and its Contents

The “Navbar” is linked to the “View Cube” and by default is displayed in the top right corner of the screen. It contains several “Display” tools, most of which are used more when working in 3D. The “Navbar” is shown in its default location in Figure 1.

Since the “Navbar” and the “View Cube” are linked, when the location of the “Navbar” is changed, the “View Cube” will follow, these tools can be repositioned at any of the four corners. To change the location, left click the “Expansion” icon in the lower right of the “Navbar”, select “Docking Positions”, select the required location as shown in Figure 2.

Also, in the “Docking Positions” option, the link to the “View Cube” can be removed, so the “Navbar” can be dragged to a new location which will automatically “Dock” to the edge of the screen, as shown in Figure 3.

Selecting the “Expansion” icon in the bottom right of the “Navbar” will also allow commands to be removed from the “Navbar” by removing the “Tick” next to the command to be removed as shown in Figure 4.
