V-Ray - Borrowing Licenses for Offline Use

The V-Ray licensing system includes a way to "borrow" a license for offline use for a period of two weeks. Borrowing a license means you can still have access to your Chaos Group software without needing a USB dongle or an internet connection.

• Open the Borrowing wizard from the Online Licensing menu.
• Select Use licenses offline.

• Click Next to start.

• Select the products you want to borrow by entering the number of licenses required and click Preview.

• Continue by selecting Borrow
  Borrowed licenses will be reserved for two weeks.

• Finally, you can see your borrowed licenses and their expiry dates. Click Close to return.

• To return a borrowed license, click the Online Licensing drop down menu and select Release.

• Select Yes to confirm.
