The DynamicMaps Team are pleased to announce that our webGIS (MapThat) now includes the option to hide the editable layer.
This means that if you are editing a layer which has multiple existing objects e.g. a Planning Applications layer…..
You can now simply tick the Hide Editable Layer option and the existing Planning Applications will become opaque (a setting which can be defined by the Admin User). This will then hide the existing features in the map so that you can draw new features with your basemapping (e.g. OS Mastermap) now not obscured.
Once the feature has been saved into your layer, you can untick the Hide Editable Layer option to see all the features again.
Upgrade to the latest release of MapThat to benefit from this new Drawing Tool feature. It will enable your users to more easily maintain their complex spatial layers.
