Before opening Civil 3D 2020 the first noticeable change is the Civil 3D icon has been changed from its original blue A and is now represented with a blue C. This C is also represented on the ribbon as the application button (Fig 1).

When opening Civil 3D 2020, you are greeted with an improved Dark blue theme. This welcome change improves clarity and creates a more user-friendly working environment to further reduce eyestrain.

Additionally, the clarity of active contextual tabs has been improved, with the introduction of the new blue theme (Fig 2) and the ribbon icons have also been upgraded to scale with HD monitors.
