AutoCAD Plant 3D 2020 – P&ID – SLINENOZZLEERASE

The un-documented system variable SLINENOZZLEERASE is defined in AutoCAD Plant 3D. It was added to AutoCAD P&ID 2015 SP2 and its setting affects the behaviour of equipment nozzles placed on equipment in P&ID drawings. The default value is <ON>. 

The default behaviour in AutoCAD P&ID is for an equipment nozzle to be deleted whenever a connected sline is deleted or pulled off the nozzle. This behaviour is the same for manually placed nozzles and nozzles that were created through the Auto Nozzle P&ID symbol setting.

When SLINENOZZLEERASE is set to <OFF> this variable prevents a nozzle from being deleted whenever a sline is deleted or pulled off the nozzle.
