QGIS – Fine Zooming

Is there another way to zoom when using QGIS?

Answer:

Yes – by holding down the Control Key while zooming with the mouse wheel, the map within QGIS will zoom in more seamlessly – which is called Fine Zooming. In addition, instead of the maps zoom halving on each zoom, the scale will only change in smaller increments, allowing you to more easily find the exact area of interest.
