Question:

When I try to restore my PostGIS database I get an error, what could be causing this?

Answer:

One reason that a PostGIS database cannot be restored may be that you have not set the Binary Path for postgres. Without this being a valid location your PostGIS database cannot perform a dump or restore.

On windows, with default installations it is likely to be here: C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.6\bin

Copy your path and paste into the "PostgreSQL Binary Path" field and click on "OK".
