CADmep Exporting IFC’s

CADmep Fabrication - To export to IFC within CADmep do the following:-

Within the drawing area (2D or 3D viewport) but without any objects selected, just right click and a menu is shown. Select ‘CADmep’ and expand, locate ‘Utilities’ and expand and you will see ‘IFC export’ (See below).

Please note you may have to configure the IFC attributes.

Next select all the objects that you want to export and hit enter. You will then get a "Save IFC as" dialog box. Select the folder you would like to save your drawing to and then change the file type to "IFC Files (*.IFC)" etc
