elecworks 2019 – Adding Additional Manufacturer Data Fields In The Classifications Manager

It’s easy to add additional manufacturer data fields into a components property. The following shows how a motor can have current added as a new manufacturer data field.

A motor has the Manufacturer data fields of Speed, IP Rating & Power as a default. You can easily add current as an additional field which in turn will be shown within the Component properties and the Manufacturer part properties.

Select the Library ribbon tab > 

Highlight Motors down the left hand side of the dialogue > 

Browse to the Component class properties and choose a spare field e.g. Manufacturer data 4

Select  and associate to “Current rating (TD_CURRENT_RATING)”

Select   to confirm the changes
