    Question:

How can you configure the Header Slot in MapThat?

    Answer:

MapThat now has a Project Header slot which appears in the top left of the application. It can be used to show any image or title to allow you to successfully brand your implementation.

To configure a relevant image or title, use SQL Server Management Studio to edit the MapThat Database and choose to EDIT the VE_HEADER table:

In the HEADER_TEXT field, you can simply type a textual name for the Project as well as use HTML to set the font style. In addition, if you wish to display an image in this slot, then in the HEADER_IMAGE field specify the location of the relevant image (.PNG, .JPG) that you wish to use. The reference to the image should contain the Server Name (instead of LocalHost) and the image is best to be stored in the MapThatIcons folder, or another relevant sub folder. E.g. –

Save the changes to the VE_HEADER table and in MapThat you will now have the relevant image or Project Name shown.

Note – if you specify a value in both the HEADER_TEXT and the HEADER_IMAGE field, the HEADER_IMAGE will take precedence and be shown instead of the Project Name.
