New features for product releases really used to get the hardcore users excited about what might be possible with the latest technology release. In earlier years, new features were packed into every release. Now, new features are drip fed to us through small incremental updates and some are more impactful than others. However, every now and then a new features arrives which holds great value to all users. One of the new features for Revit 2018 was the ability to utilise co-ordination files. In real terms this means we are now able to link in an NWC or NWD file into Revit. The benefit here is sections and elevations provide accurate representation across the models, which is not the case when using a DWG file. The following link demonstrates how to link and work with these co-ordination models.
