Question:

I have configured new BaseLayers for MapThat but there is no image in the Base Layers list, how do I configure these?

Answer:

To configure a relevant image for the MapThat Base Layers list to look like the below example:

In SQL Server Management Studio choose to EDIT the VE_Baselayers table:

In the IMAGE_URL field, type the location of the relevant image (.PNG, .JPG) that you wish to use. The reference to the image should contain the Server Name (instead of LocalHost) and the image is best to be stored in the MapThatIcons folder, or another relevant sub folder. E.g. –

http://localhost/MapThatIcons/Baselayers/mapboxlight.jpg

Save the changes to the VE_Baselayers table and in MapThat you will now have the relevant images listed for each of your basemaps.
