Autodesk Inventor - Nesting Utility

Inventor 2019 has been out now for a while now and if you have access to it through the Product Design Collection you will be able to access the nesting utility along with HSM. Now this is a really amazing add on that’s come with this release and can be used not only for nesting and machining your parts, but also as a quick quotation aid to help you quickly and accurately estimate the amount of material needed to produce multiple jobs in one go. Although this is designed with sheet metal parts you will see in the video I have utilised this for a fully wood counter with multiple materials and thicknesses. It’s a bit of a long one but trust me its worth it!!
