Vault Basic: Lock files, stop users from editing or deleting files

You are using Vault Basic and wish to know how to lock files so that users cannot edit or delete them. Although Vault Basic is limited with features, there is a workaround this. 

The workaround is to check these files out and keep them checked out, stopping other users from editing or deleting the files.

Please note, if the other users have administrator rights assigned to their Vault account, they may be able to override the restrictions.
