Question: Why is 3DS Max not showing Arnold renderer?

Answer: When starting 3DS Max you receive the error message "ArnoldVolumeObject.dlo failed to initialize". Also, the Arnold renderer is not displayed in the drop-down list when selecting renderer. This may be due to an older or multiple version being installed, possibly via a 3rd party product. Also check the Windows environment variables for any older referenced plugin paths
