Cylink install doesn’t see Revit

Question: What to do when Cylink install doesn’t see Revit 

Answer: When you try to install Cylink you receive a message saying that Revit is not detected despite it being installed and working. In order for Cylink to detect Revit you must open a project, for example just open the sample architectural project before trying the Cylink install again.
