The following document explains how you can associate an existing AutoCAD Electrical component to an existing Inventor part or vice-versa. It details how this can be done within AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor dependent upon where the most logical place, at the time, is to associate.  The document assumes that an electro-mechanical link file has already been created between the AutoCAD Electrical WDP and Inventor IPJ files.
