Revit 2017 - Creating a wall with diagonal brickwork

Creating a wall with a face (brickwork, facades, cladding) that usually runs horizontally or vertically,

can be re-designed to run diagonally using the ‘Rotate Tool’ in the modify panel. 

Standard wall with brickwork running horizontally

• Hover your mouse of a wall (3D or Elevation), do not select the wall.
• Press the TAB key twice and a blue horizontal line will appear across the face of the wall
• Left click on mouse button
• In modify panel select rotate and change the angle to show alignment required
