The stretch tool is used to stretch a dynamic block to set values.
In the block editor window, draw a rectangle. From the Block Authoring Pallet, choose the Linear Stretch and select the length of the rectangle.
Click the stretch tool from the Action Parameter tab. Then click on the parameter. An action point will need to be defined, so select the top right corner of the rectangle. Specify the stretch box to contain the top, bottom and right lines and also the parameter.
Click on the length parameter again, and from the Properties Pallet, in the Value Set field, select the Increment option. Enter the minimum, maximum length and increment values. This side of the rectangle will stretch from 1400 to 2000 in 100 increments.
Repeat the steps again to stretch the width of the rectangle, except when choosing the action point, select the bottom right side, and the stretch box to contain left, right and bottom lines and also the parameter.
From the Value Set field on the Properties Pallet, choose the list option and enter 840, 900, 950, 970 & 1100. The width will stretch to these values.
Save the block and insert this block into the drawing window. The arrow shows which way the rectangle will stretch.
The width will stretch to the predefined values of 840, 900,950,970 & 1100 and the length will stretch from the minimum value of 1400 to the maximum value of 2000 in 100 increments.
