You would like to install Vault Server 2016 on Windows 10 for testing purposes but encounter an IIS error during install. Although Vault 2016 is not officially supported on Windows 10 it can be installed with a workaround. You should stop the IIS service before installing, then when the ADMS checks have completed successfully, restart the IIS service and continue. You may have to run the setup twice if you don’t already have IIS installed (part of Vault install).
