Inventor 2017 - Resolve Missing Content Centre Parts

Have you ever been sent a model, or perhaps downloaded a model from the internet with missing content centre parts? This is a relatively common issue, often caused by project file setup and the method used to package the files for sharing (for best results always use Pack n go)

If any files in the model cannot be resolved, the user will be prompted with the following message:

Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017
---------------------------
Inventor allows you to work in assemblies with unresolved
components. However updates that depend upon unresolved
components will not solve correctly until all unresolved
component(s) are resolved.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
