Inventor 2017 - Shape Generator Tutorial

One of my favourite features in Inventor 2016 R2 was the Shape generator. Shape generator, is a utility that creates generative designs, based on your initial input geometry and the real world working conditions of the part.

This tools uses what is called topology optimisation. Topology optimisation leads to computer algorithm generated versions of your original geometry, but with options for weight reduction of components while maintaining structural integrity. 

This brilliant tool has been updated and improved in Inventor 2017. Check out the video below for a Shape Generator tutorial.
