I thought I would write up a few instructions on how to cancel the Windows 10 upgrade for Windows 7. I cancelled this as I need to keep this test machine on Windows 7, as it has various Autodesk 2014-2016 products on, that are not supported on Windows 10.
WARNING: DO NOT CLICK THE “X” IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER AT ANY POINT IN THIS PROCESS - AS THIS WILL NOT CANCEL THE UPDATE
First Click the blue word “here”:
Then Click on “Cancel scheduled upgrade”:
This process is now complete, and will return you to Windows 7.
