Vault 2017 - Client Application Fails to Load

You may experience an issue getting into a Vault 2017 client after installation.  This is due to an issue with language packs for smaller regions.

To solve, browse to:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\CLM\V3\MSVC14\resources\adlm

Copy the en-US folder and paste in situ:

 

Rename it to your local language.  For the UK you want to use “en-GB”:

 

Launch Vault 2017 again and you’ll be able to log in.

It is suspected that this is related to a Windows 10 upgrade, which warns users that they may need to reinstall a language pack afterwards.  Please leave a comment below if you’ve had this issue on another OS.
