What is the Marker Icon?

Answer

The Incidents > Marker Icon setting will determine the symbol/icon used in the map to show the user the new incident as they add it onto the map. For example choosing the Brown icon means that as the user clicks in the map to define an incident a brown icon is temporarily placed. Once the user has completed the incident recording process (entering the required details), the new incident will then be coloured based on the settings in the Data Layer itself, for example the Data Layer may have a THEME associated to it which may colour the incidents diferently.
