Older Autodesk products unable to obtain a license

If you have a mixture of new and older Autodesk products installed you may find that the older products are unable to retrieve a license (e.g. AutoCAD 2016 works but AutoCAD 2013 doesn’t). If you can see the products listed when querying LMTools it is likely that IPv6 is enabled on the server. You can either disable IPv6 on the server or amend the client host file so that an IPv4 address is displayed when pinging the license server.
