One of the biggest questions we are asked is “How do I check I have the latest version of Revit?”. Autodesk are always releasing updates for Revit with any found fixes and improvements.
However Revit doesn’t always clearly show us what update is installed, and sometimes just displays build number instead. To make this clearer Autodesk have released a helpful document that guides you through how to check you build number against the updates for your product. This is constantly being updated with any new additions.

It is also worth noting for all people working in a Team and using Worksharing in a Revit project, all users need to have identical builds of Revit, so knowing what version you have becomes even more important.
