Inventor 2016 - October updates & new features

Very exciting news for Inventor subscription customers. On the 30th of October Autodesk will give Inventor Subscription customers access to a new release of Inventor 2016 (this is similar to previous years when we had access to subscription bonus packs)

There are 3 main new features in this release.

The first is generative design, which I have spoken about in a previous blog post, check out the video below for more details:

The second new feature is the integration of Force effect into Inventor. This is really cool, because we've been able to access Force effect on mobile devices for some time, but it is now part of our core design tools.

Last but not least, the third new feature is an enhancement to the way that Inventor can now create custom IDF libraries for PCB design as well simplification, check out the video below for more details.
