Autodesk has recently released Service Pack 1 for its flagship software packages - AutoCAD 2016, AutoCAD LT 2016 and their verticals.

Arguably the main feature of the Service Pack is that Autodesk will now fully support AutoCAD 2016 SP1 and AutoCAD LT 2016 SP1 running on Windows 10.

As always, Service Pack 1 includes all of the previous updates for AutoCAD 2016 and AutoCAD LT 2016.

For more info about the Service Pack 1 - see the README file.

Along with various performance and optimization improvements, Service Pack comes with a few highly requested enhancements.

You now have an option to disable SHX text being displayed as comments in some of the PDF viewers - something that has caused a controversy after AutoCAD 2016 has been released.

Using the intersection snap on hatch elements now behaves as expected.

Using eTransmit now includes Xrefs when Bind External References option is checked.
