Offshore Laser Scanning

Many brownfield projects can benefit from the speed and accuracy offered by laser scanning an existing asset. However, traditionally the laser scan could take countless hours to convert to a 3D model for it to be used to establish tie-in points for new plant or equipment.  kubit PointSense Plant is a tool that significantly speeds up the post-processing of laser scan images, providing conversion to an intelligent AutoCAD Plant 3D model.

Associated fabrication drawings and reports are automatically generated from the model, saving further time, with a high degree of accuracy, essential if you are retro-fitting an asset offshore.

If you are planning on attending the Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition in Aberdeen sometime between the 8th and 11th September, then please stop by for a visit; you’ll find us on stand 3E20 with our partners FARO.

You will be able to see live demonstrations of plant modelling in AutoCAD Plant 3D; laser scan conversion to plant models using kubit PointSense Plant and visual pipe stress analysis using checkSTRESS.

If you’ve not already booked a place at this event you can do so by following the link below:
