Autodesk Inventor 2016: Quick Tip - Flat Pattern in Drawings

Working with Sheet Metal but you are unable to place a Flat Pattern (Unfolded) view on a drawing, because the flat pattern option is grayed out?

A quick Autodesk Inventor 2016 tip:

This happens because the sheet metal part has not been unfolded, and does not have a flat pattern generated. To do that, simply open the sheet metal part, navigate to the Sheet Metal tab and hit "Create Flat Pattern":
