AutoCAD Plant 3D – Property Order

Question:

How do I determine the order of appearance of Plant 3D / P&ID Property fields?

The order in which Property fields are displayed in the AutoCAD Properties window appears to be random.

However, this order reflects the order in which the properties are shown in the Class settings window in Project Setup.

Answer:

Properties simply appear in the order in which they are added during Project Setup.

It is not possible to change the order once they have been added.

However, the order in which the columns are displayed in the Data Manager window is user-defined. The column headers may be dragged left to right to re-order them.
