In keeping with ongoing development, some of the Radiator databases are revised and updated for MEPworx 2025 as detailed below.
The MHS radiator databases have been updated to:
MHS Cast Iron 2025 and MHS CI Site Assy 2025, as listed below:
- MHS Cast Iron Radiator ranges - Freestanding, F/S added four places for clarity.
- MHS C.I. Site Assy Radiator ranges (Cast Iron On Site Assembly).
Radiator maximum lengths ignored, to enable direct insertion as a single emitter..
Beware that the total weight will exceeds the lifting capacity of a single handler.
Must have additional operatives for unloading, plus tools for assembly & placement on site.
Please note. The ‘MHS C.I. Site Assy 2025’ database has the same range and number of models but because Cast Iron Sectional radiators are very heavy, they only sell a maximum number of sections pre-assembled. This is due to the sectional weight exceeding the recommended maximum that an individual can lift for extensive periods.
If larger radiators are required, you have to split them into two or more sections and assemble on site. Hence, for the site assembly radiators, the maximum number of sections so you can place have been ignored. This is usually about 13 sections.
By adopting this approach, in MEPworx Piping, you can insert very large and very heavy radiators without having to show two smaller radiators to be joined later.
The Jaga 2010 radiator database has been updated to Jaga 2024, with data from the, “Jaga Big Black Book v2”, plus the relevant Jaga spreadsheets. All as listed below:
- Cocoon, Sentinel & Sani Ranges removed as they are no longer available.
If required for Legacy projects use Jaga 2010, or import into another DBR. - Manufacturer’s codes added .e.g. LINW. HHH. LLL. T10. XXX
LINW = Linear Wall.
HHH = Height in cms.
LLL = Length in cms.
T10 = Emitter Type.
XXX Colour Code from Jaga catalogue - LST removed from Tempo name because it is now possible to enter as Type LST.
- Guardian Ranges added.
- DBE changed to DBH, which can also provide light cooling.
- Some lengths corrected from cm to mm.
Included in radiator database updates are the Brickability Group plc Towelrads.
Offering a comprehensive range of equipment, including Under Floor Heating (UFH).
