AutoCAD 2015 - Cursor Disappearing in Viewport

I’ve noticed quite a few users experiencing a common graphical problem with AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2015.

When a viewport in a layout is activated (floating), the mouse cursor disappears or is missing.

This issue can usually be resolved by typing one of the following commands into the AutoCAD command line:

LINEFADING

LINESMOOTHING
