I had an interesting evening last Thursday (12/2/15) at the Manchester Civil 3D User Group.
This was the second meeting of the group, which are held every three months, and was attended by approx. 40 users and not just from the Manchester area! The meetings are very informal and offer a good opportunity to network with other Civil 3D users, resellers, and Autodesk staff.
The meeting began with an excellent presentation from Duncan Taylor from Jacobs entitled ‘BIM Model Start Up and Set Up’ which was followed by Jack Strongitharm (Autodesk) previewing some of the new features planned for Civil 3D 2016.
After a break for a buffet meal, and more networking, Jack ran a group brainstorming session where everyone had the chance to put forward their ideas on what new features (and bug fixes!) they believe should be included in future versions of Civil 3D.
If this sound interesting to you follow the link below and register for notification of the future meeting
