Flexible Assemblies can be really important when creating assemblies that contain components with movable parts, like hydraulic cylinders or hinges.

In the video below, I show how flexibility works. I also cover one of the most important aspects of flexible assemblies in Inventor, which is that the moving part in the sub-assembly must be free to move, it should not be fully constrained.
