Inventor 2015 What’s New – Joint Between Two Faces

I’m going to be posting a few videos over the coming weeks showing some of the new additions to the Inventor 2015 release. This is as a follow-up to a series of Inventor 2015 What’s New webinars we’ve run at Cadline in recent months.

 

In Inventor 2015 you can use the Joint tool to assemble components using ‘virtual’ points. This means that you don’t necessarily need to create work planes and work points in the ‘jointing’ locations – you can actually ‘infer’ these points as part of the Joint tool itself.
