The Vector (SVG) output quality of Publisher 2012 was a serious point of concern for many users, and may have resulted in some companies dropping Publisher as their Tech Pubs tool altogether. So Autodesk have invested a lot into this important feature for 2013 (admittedly with some way to go – other formats such as EPS are heavily requested) - so I thought I’d do a side-by-side 2012/2013 comparison of my own and tell it to you straight.
The 2013 SVG is MUCH cleaner, even when zoomed out to view the whole alloy wheel. And my detail views below really highlight the improvements – no more overhanging lines. Hats off to the developers at Autodesk, this is a big step forward. Enjoy!
